FAITH ARISE!

Grasping at straws
Blowing in the wind
That's our end

If we try to understand
Without asking
Without basking

In faith
We can't trace
The invisible

It's impossible
You can't grasp inertia
You must rest there

Waiting for the force
That acts within you
You can't move

You are dead
Crucified in Christ
You have no life

Apart from resurrection
The only action
That births wisdom

You must remain
Cold and dark
In the tomb of faith

Hidden away
Waiting for the light
To fill the void

No plans of your own
Just groans
Of steady contractions

Bringing forth truth
Planted deep within
Holy Spirit action

Where there is nothing
But faith
Asking away

For the evidence not seen
Continually believing
In hope filled substance

That surpasses knowledge
That lets go
That chooses to know

One thing
Christ crucified
That just lies

In the grave
Stopping everything
Except for asking

Faith in action
Seeking understanding
From another realm

Where Reality dwells
Where change is welcome
Up from corruption

No more straw grasping
In every wind of doctrine
No more opinions

Stopping vital contractions
Of Spirit birth
It's time for the force

To continue it's motion
Unto completion
It's time to listen

Yielded and still
Until acted upon
All doubt gone

You are immobilized
It's time for surprise
Faith arise!
